About Us

inPERU is a non profit Peruvian association founded by the main business organizations of the Peruvian market: APEF, ASAB PERU, ABANC, Asociacion de AFP, Bolsa de Valores de Lima, CAVALI and CONFIEP.. Its actions will be based on the following principles: transparency, integration, honesty, accountability, respect and commitment to promote Peru, its country opportunities and its financial and capital markets among international investors.

Mission

Present the potential of Peru's investment and business to the main places in the world, being the link between the public and private sectors to encourage meetings and communications between foreign investors and the national financial and capital markets.

Vision

To be recognized as a politically independent and multisectoral association that promotes Peru internationally as a safe and favorable place for business and foreign investment; which collaborates to the benefit of investors, capital collectors and Peruvian society in general.

Objectives

Our main objectives are to promote foreign investment and the development of opportunities in Peru as well as in its financial and capital markets, providing the following appropriate information to investors on a continuous basis:

The most relevant political events.
Changes in fiscal and monetary policy.
Infrastructure of the market and its reforms.
Most important local projects and issueings.

In addition, inPERU´s purpose is to strengthen the relation between foreign investors and its Peruvian participants:

Currently, she holds the position of Chairwoman of the Board of CAVALI ICLV, Vice Chair of the Board of the BVL Group, and a director at nuam. In the academic domain, she is a Full Professor in the Department of Economics and a member of the Research Center at the Universidad del Pacífico.In 2016, she was elected as Vice President and Congresswoman of the Republic. From 2017 to 2018, she served as President of the Council of Ministers. Additionally, she has held the positions of Minister of Economy and Finance from 2009 to 2010, Minister of Production in 2009, and Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism from 2006 to 2009. On the international front, she represented the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Mexico from 2012 to 2015.Mercedes is an economist with a degree from the Universidad del Pacífico and holds both a Master's degree and a Ph.D. from the University of Miami, Florida, USA.

He holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad del Pacífico, an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, and an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) awarded by CFA UK. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector.He worked for nearly 10 years at Credicorp Capital, where he held various managerial positions, including Managing Director of Asset Management, Sustainability Leader, Chief Investment Officer, Deputy Chief Investment Officer (Chile), Head of Equities (Chile and Peru), and Head of Buy-Side Research. He was instrumental in transforming the company into a globally recognized investment team, which enabled the establishment of the fund platform currently offered by Credicorp Capital Asset Management in Luxembourg. He has also held executive positions at other international firms, including Fidelity International and Citibank.

He is the President and founder of the Peruvian Finance Association (APEF) and the founding and current Director of inPERU. He serves as a Director and Advisor to leading companies and families, focusing on strategic, financial, and comprehensive management issues.
He is currently a Director and/or Advisor for several prominent companies, including Corporación Rico, Resinplast, Promelsa, Ardisa, Cidelsa, Megabusiness, Diamante del Perú, ElectroFerroCentro, Casaideal, Textil San Ramón, Multifoods, Andean Crown, La Jolla Beach, Vantrust, Intelica, Synergos, SwissCapitals, Medical and Health, MBC Intercorp, Grupo Lari, Smasac, Litec, and International Media Group, among others. He has directly advised around 100 companies.
He is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Master in Finance program at Pacifico Business School and a contributor to G Gestión Magazine, América Economía, SyP, and others. Since 1993, he has been a Professor of Finance, Economics, and Banking at the Graduate School and Senior Management Programs at the Universidad del Pacífico. He has also been a speaker at Centrum in the Training Programs for Directors and General Managers since 2015.
Previously, he served as Director of the Peruvian Association of Human Resources (Aperhu) and the Retail Committee of the Lima Chamber of Commerce. He was the CEO of Iasacorp International and CFO of Corporación Infarmasa S.A., acting as an operating partner for international private equity funds, both of which were very successful investments. He also worked as Finance Manager at Química Suiza S.A. and as a Corporate Banker at Banco Continental and Banco de Lima Sudameris, focusing on Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, and International Banking.
He holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad del Pacífico, as well as a Master's in Administration from the same university. He received the Robert Maes Special Award for academic excellence in both the Faculty and the School, awarded to the top-performing student in his cohort. He has also completed the Senior Management Program at the IE Business Institute in Madrid, Spain, and the Director Training Program at EADA in Barcelona, Spain, along with various specialization programs from prestigious institutions both locally and internationally.

General Manager of CONFIEP. He has over 15 years of international experience in designing and implementing economic plans to facilitate private investment, along with a long history of supporting economic programs with governments in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Previously, he was part of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru, where he was in charge of the General Directorate of Policies for Promoting Private Investment. He also served on the Specialized Team for Monitoring Private Investment as an advisor and executive director. Additionally, he worked for seven years at the Instituto Libertad y Democracia (ILD) as the manager of international affairs under Hernando de Soto and as editor of special reports for Diario El Comercio. He directed the Economic Policy and Development Management of the institution, where he was responsible for national and international economic research and analysis, as well as managing the organizational representation in international platforms that promote the institutionalization of collaborative models in public policy design.
Daly holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

The first 20 years of his career were spent at Citibank, where he served as CEO of Citibank Peru from 2011 to 2014 and advised on M&A transactions totaling over US$5 billion in sectors such as fishing, mining, and chemicals.At BTG Pactual, he has advised on various M&A transactions, including the sale of Intradevco to Alicorp for US$515 million in 2019 and the sale of Corporación PECSA to Primax for US$273 million in 2018. He is a founding member of the Peruvian Association of Finance and of InPeru, a public-private partnership promoting investment in the country.He has served on the boards of Unibanca, the American Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Banks, Procapitales, and CONFIEP. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Universidad del Pacífico and is a graduate of the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
