The head of the MEF, Raúl Pérez Reyes, presented projects in sectors such as infrastructure and public services, while the head of Minem, Jorge Montero, held meetings with investment funds and companies in the mining and energy sector. The inPERU agenda will continue in Madrid, where Julio Velarde will join the delegation.
September 9, 2025.- With a positive balance, the first leg of inPERU’s XVIII Europe Roadshow 2025 concluded in London, where Minister of Economy and Finance Raúl Pérez Reyes presented an investment portfolio of more than US$20 billion to potential investors. The event brought together more than 80 representatives from the public and private sectors.
The investment portfolio presented by the MEF includes more than 80 Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects and asset-based projects planned for 2025 and 2026. These initiatives cover sectors such as transport, health, education, energy, tourism, sanitation, and urban infrastructure.
During the event, opportunities through the Works for Taxes (OxI) mechanism were also presented. ProInversión Executive Director Tibisay Vivanco noted that there are projects worth more than S/13.6 billion available under this financing modality.
The program included discussion panels with representatives of international companies and Peruvian business leaders, among them Currie & Brown, Gleeds, and ARUP, as well as Roque Benavides (Buenaventura), Mariela García (Ferreycorp), and Carlos Tori (Interbank), who shared their views on investment in the country.
In parallel, Minister of Energy and Mines Jorge Luis Montero held meetings with investment funds and companies in the mining and energy sector, which expressed interest in exploring new projects in Peru. He highlighted that the concessions framework and macroeconomic stability reinforce investor confidence.
The central seminar “Invest in Peru” brought together authorities and investors. Minister Pérez Reyes emphasized that the country offers fiscal stability and clear rules, while inPERU President Mercedes Aráoz highlighted the macroeconomic strength achieved over the past three decades.
With the London leg concluded, the inPERU delegation departed for Madrid to continue the roadshow agenda on September 10 and 11. The Spanish leg will be joined by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Desilú León, and the President of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCR), Julio Velarde.
