The XVIII Europe Roadshow 2025 organized by inPERU, the association that promotes investment in Peru, concluded last Friday in Madrid after a tour that also included London and brought together more than 200 authorities, business leaders, and investors between the two cities, the organization stated in a press release.
The Peruvian delegation, which has become the largest in the history of these tours, presented the country’s main macroeconomic figures and a broad portfolio of projects in strategic sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure, and sports, among others.
The closing event was held at the Santander Group’s headquarters in Boadilla del Monte, featuring the seminar “Investing in Peru,” where business leaders had the opportunity to discuss investment in areas such as energy, tourism, and education, among others.
During the tour, the President of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, Julio Velarde, projected economic growth of 3.1% for 2025, with inflation among the lowest in the region (1.1% in August).
Velarde also announced that private investment would reach USD 54 billion this year, 5% more than the previous year, driven by infrastructure and mining projects, as well as international interest in Peruvian sovereign bonds.
For his part, Peru’s Minister of Economy and Finance, Raúl Pérez-Reyes, confirmed that the tour had generated concrete interest from international companies in a project portfolio presented in London and Madrid that “exceeds USD 20 billion.”
Breaking down this portfolio of 80 projects for 2025–2026, approximately 25 initiatives correspond to transport (USD 8.131 billion), 24 to electricity and hydrocarbons (USD 2.477 billion), and 13 to sanitation (USD 3.122 billion).
“The success of the XVIII Europe Roadshow 2025 has allowed us to reaffirm our mission of promoting Peru as a strategic, safe, and reliable investment destination on the global stage, and to plant the expectation that the meetings initiated in this edition will soon translate into concrete investments that bring development, employment, and well-being to millions of Peruvians,” said inPERU Executive Director Juan Carlos Mandujano.
